Was it the pad thai, the massaman curry, or none of the above? All I know is it was making me really sick. The first time I made it to the toilet bowl easily with anticipation after the Alka-Seltzer made me feel more queasy. Then I lay down and closed my eyes, hoping the nausea would disappear. Next thing I know Giovanni is asking me how I feel, I reply not too good, and I have to run to the bathroom. This time I don’t make it and I vomit all over my clothes and in the bathroom doorway. And we’re off! After being in India for 40 days, we’re off to SE Asia, where rice and noodles are king, islands are deserted, and people are friendly.
